Web of Science, now expanded

The Zach S. Henderson Library is pleased to announce that we have added backfile content to our Web of Science database (within the Web of Knowledge interface).  Previously, Web of Science only included citations from 1975-present.  Now it has been expanded to 1900-present.  This includes the two components known as the Science Citation Index and the Social Sciences Citation Index; the Arts & Humanities Citation Index is only published for 1975-present.

Web of Science offers “cited reference searching,” which allows you to trace the articles which have cited another article, as well as those which that article cited.  This way you can move forward and backward through the research timeline.  You can access the newly expanded Web of Science via GALILEO here.
